Extremely high quality standards are set in order to guarantee that the purity of Acqua Panna water remains unchanged during the production process. The water is subject to controls by local health care authorities as well, as prescribed by Italian law. Nevertheless, a fully staffed in-house Quality Assurance Department and Laboratory maintains control over the plant quality control processes. Water, packaging materials and plant processes are carefully monitored to ensure that they meet company specifications and standards. Acqua Panna’s exhaustive quality assurance process starts at the source. Monitoring of the spring water collection and receiving process is performed regularly by a team of professionals using state-of-the-art equipment. Extremely qualified staff checks the whole bottling process: rigorous tests are performed in line; the water is monitored during the filling and capping process too. Bottles, caps and labels are carefully controlled by lot, and package materials not meeting the highest standards are discarded.
